Taylor Eye Witness - old photos

My grandfather worked for Taylor Eye Witness in Milton Street until 1971. I have contacted TEW and they gave me as much info as they had. He worked in mirror glazing and polishing as shop foreman. We dont know what year he started but from what I believe he worked there for many years. His name was Cyril Uttley. Does anyone out there have any old photos or paper records please?

My grandfather worked for NV & T for 60 years, he was a Master Razor Grinder.

Paper records and photos of the place are thin on the ground.

I will be going to the exhibition there this weekend for a look round the place.

Hi Nellsie

My mum worked at Taylor’s Eye Witness for years, so did my aunt and sister.

She passed away last month and

I have some photos somewhere.

I’ll find them out.
