Which makes it all the more puzzling as to why Honda would not want to be part of this success.

In other Brexit news, that far-right clown James Goddard has been charged with harrassment of Anna Soubry outside the House of Commons last month.

Come March 29th, half of the far-right will be in jail lol 😂

Except that Honda would potentially lose sales if it acknowledged the decision was down to Brexit. The line they are giving now is marketing driven, that is how business works.

Just except that not everything that's done in business is related to brexit.

It's not at all puzzling because Honda have explained their reasons for closing the Swindon plant in 2021.  Unlike Nissan, Honda didn't  seek any money from our Government which is why they can be honest and not blame Brexit or make statements such as what Nissan did saying "Brexit uncertainty is not helpful for future planning''

Honda have stated

"We've always seen Brexit as something we'll get through, but these changes globally are something we will have to respond to. We deeply regret the impact it will have on the Swindon community."

Some posters try too hard in blaming Brexit for every negative economic event.  Turkey are not leaving the customs union and Honda are closing their operations there, for the same reasons they are closing the Swindon plant.

Charged is not the same as being in prison. As its not a very serious offence and only carries a maximum of 6 months I doubt he will see the inside of a jail.

I wasn't referring to him specifically but those clowns arrested for attacking paramedics in London on Saturday and of course Wee Tommy Robinson who still has to answer to his charge of Contempt of Court in Leeds.

With the new Formula One season coming up, I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the effect of a no-deal Brexit on the next season.

Despite Formula One being an international sport, 80% of all F1 teams are based in the south of England employing tens of thousands of people directly and supporting many others in the local areas as well as many small specialist engineering firms. Although the cars usually travel from circuit to circuit between races, what makes the difference between winning and coming second is the week by week development of new parts many of which are manufactured after the final free practice on Friday and qualifying on Saturday and flown out on Saturday morning to be fitted by the start of Q1 usually at 1pm. This is a real 'just in time' supply chain.

Current favourites Mercedes-AMG could well end up relocating to Stuttgart. Second favourite Ferrari will benefit from this as they are entirely based in Maranello, Italy.

All these people who are currently seeing themselves, their friends, family or community losing jobs, directly because of brexit, they'd still vote for it again?

I think so, yes. The polls are still as tight as they were in May and June 2016.
