The Consequences of Brexit [Part 6] READ FIRST POST BEFORE COMMENTING

Seems odd that Blairs '97 election victory is described as a landslide, when only 13.5 million voted for him. A vote that subsequently took us to war, and all that followed.

Yet , 4 million more, the 17.5 million who voted for brexit isn't enough now .

The June 2016 referendum was the biggest, most popular vote for anything in UK history. FACT. That an out of touch establishment elite is seeking to overturn it shames our political system and reduces it to the level of a banana republic.

To fair I'd suggest a majority of the people who have died since the vote woukd have voted brexit and those now eligible to vote are more likely to vote remain.

I'm not disputing the majority THEN but its certainly not the same now.

Euro parliaments really shown its true colours the last few days, the anti british feeling from the leading figures in there should be enough to churn the guts of any remoaner.

Hopefully its a no deal leave and let europe get on with it and we can rebuild, maybe we can build our own car plants and take back our utilities

They're waiting for us to get our **** together, which we are incapable of doing. It's not anti-british it's just fed up. I'm fed up of it and I'm British. We're a laughing stock. Have you seen that video of a bloke trying to 3 piece suite, pkus his wife and kids in a mid size hatchback? Thats what we look like.

How is it ‘they’ see us? Barnier, Tusk, Verhofstadt... they’ve had the same line in this ‘negotiation’ from day one, now they repeat it they are ‘anti-British’? Why? Because now it is clear how incompetent the government has been?

sorry forgot you don't believe in democracy

I do. That’s why I think we should have another democratic vote now more details are known.

We went through the sums on here recently. The number of 65+ leave votes was in the region of 5.8m. Over one thousand of them die every day.

Demograhics are completely against leave.

Get ready for the next step:

UK : Hi, eu, can we extend a50?

EU : No.

UK : Ok, so parliament has rejected leaving with no deal, so only option is revoke a50.

Nice work
