Arthur Ritus   30 #25 Posted March 4, 2019 This sounds like the corsa body panel job, large demand for stolen parts for replacing parts stolen.  The thieving scum are as bad as the government (they will hate that..... might make them stop, well at least as much as anything else at the moment) - tax on insurance premiums then vat on the replacement parts - why would they want to pay out police/ custodial costs to stop it, it would be biting the hand.  Its appreciated to get some real info on whats being targeted. I used to have a pop off steering wheel years ago before airbags etc were the norm Yes and obviously still in use with race cars and such. I believe now it's an MOT failure to have a normal wheel in place of the original air bag wheel, so the cars able to run a snap-off wheel legally are very much in a minority.
