It doesn't matter if you don't think it affects it or not. If their clause is that the guarantee in null and void if used or stored in a garage then that's that! Remember you are going to get condensation on the metal parts of the equipment in a garage. It matters not if the equipment is warm or cold, you still get it. This is not relevant either if you contravene the conditions of the guarantee.
