Runningman   148 #1 Posted February 28, 2019 Cycled up the Monsal Trail from Bakewell on Wed afternoon. Surprised to see that contractors are painting one of the bridges. Surprised because it is doubtful the bridge will ever be used again for rail traffic Is the intention to open it for public useage, or because of the planned uplift of the old station building, a matter of smartening the place up.  Any one with knowledge ?
