No, they couldn't find any trace of the mystery driver which is very strange as with everyone from the age of four having a mobile these days, the chance of the mystery driver not having one is pretty remote.

But as I said earlier, it is not for Katie Price to prove there was someone else driving, it is up to the prosecution to prove that there wasn't.

But it's an offence to fail to identify the driver

"The offence of failing to nominate a driver at the time of an alleged offence used to carry a maximum of three-penalty points and a £1000 fine"

People just love KP failing.

What about the celeb chef Tom Kerridge, hasn't been caught four times driving drunk?

Still driving because he needs his licence for his telly appearances.

Oops you are right it was four speeding offences not drunk driving.

I only skim read the article and conflated his alcoholism with bad driving

She did 'nominate the driver'.

It is not her job or responsibility to track him down and get him to court.

Does it count if all she managed to come up with was "Some guy I met at a party just an hour ago"

Of course.

The law only requires that you don't withold this information when asked. If you aren't sure who was driving or it may have been one of a number of people, you simply write to the police stating this and asking to be sent any photographic or witness evidence which may help you identify the driver. If you still aren't able to identify the driver then you have discharged your legal responsibilities and can only be prosecuted if the police can prove that you could have identified the driver.

Can’t stand this lying moral less waste of space .

Some people believed her and invested money with a conman who paid her to advertise his investment company.

What possible mitigation could there be not to warrant imprisonment.

She was already on a ban while this offense occured.

Dare say she'll tweet soon saying she's been harshly treated
