A book for my IPad.

I have an Apple IPad and it’s the best thing I ever bought but I still can’t work out everything it does. Is there a book printed by Apple that I can buy from Waterstones that will give me more information on my IPad.

Honestly, there's nothing in there you cannot find out just by either playing, or googling...

If there's anything specific, you can often find the answer by searching on youtube (or just ask here of course).

 

I think there's a free user guide that Apple produce, which you can get through iBooks.

I’m not sure how to clear my history without clearing my passwords.

The Apple website has clear instructions and guides on how to do MANY things...

To delete Safari History See this article:

NOTE: the usernames being saved etc is known as "AutoFill", Clearing History/Cookies/Cache will not clear AutoFill information, it states this on the link also...

That book was published in 2011. Likely to be massively out of date with changes to operating system since.

as others have posted, the internet is the best source of information.

As someone else mentioned, go to Books on your iPad and Store and search for iPad Manual. Then pick the one for your operating system (11, 12 etc).
