spilldig   187 #1 Posted February 15, 2019 Any help appreciated, we have an HP Pavilion g6 laptop on windows 10 , and the audio has stopped, the fault saying, " No audio available ".  I have explained the fault to my usual computer repair place and they say get a new computer. Has anyone had the same problem and cured it ? IT-Smith   10 #2 Posted February 15, 2019 First restart the laptop, Do not just shutdown. Restarting does a different thing.  If that does not work right click the Windows icon on the bottom left, click "Device Manager" and under sound right click and remove all sound devices including ticking the "Delete the driver software for this device". Then restart and leave it for at least 15 minutes and then test it to see if it has worked.
 Share this content via...
