Monthly Room or Community Hall Hire for a charity

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for suggestions for room  hire for one Friday evening a month. It needs to be accessible by public transport and have on site parking. Disabled access is required, preferably ground floor. We need to be able to park some cars close to the entrance as there are quite a few things to carry in and out.  We need enough room to seat forty people theatre style but the group is growing.  We bring our own projector.

We need  tables to put displays and plants on (a few small cactus and succulents). We currently set up chairs and tables and clear away when we have finished. At our current venue we make our own teas and coffees, wash and clear up before we leave.

Somewhere in the city centre or out towards the M1 would be ideal. We can't afford an expensive room as its a charity run by volunteers. Any suggestions please?

No suggestions? The Mega Centre would be perfect but its far too expensive for the charity to afford.

The Central United Reformed Church in Norfolk Street, city centre, has rooms to hire, including one (with kitchen) on the ground floor and that accommodates 50 people.
