davyboy   18 #1 Posted February 8, 2019 (edited) I am connecting this recorder to my new TV. The manual states: The cable from the aerial plugs into the Rf in port in the back of the box. The recorder also supports loop through functionality. If you would like to receive  a direct signal back into your TV connect an aerial cable to the back of the TV and the other end to the Rf out port at the back of the box.  Can someone please explain what the advantage of this would be if any? walkertelecoms   16 #3 Posted April 3, 2019 That might just be with Sky boxes. My Humax box will record 2 things while I watch a 3rd.
 Share this content via...
Crosser   10 #4 Posted April 16, 2019 Note:  Signal strength IS impaired if the Humax box is switched off whilst watching through loop.
 Share this content via...
walkertelecoms   16 #5 Posted June 14, 2019 I agree, the box works well as a booster. Mine is never fully shut down, just in sleep mode.
 Share this content via...
