again why are they not letting aid in

as i explained before Maduro doesn't want americans on his soil, is that so hard to understand?

They want him removed from power, so obviously he wouldn't want that foreign power on their soil, what is hard to understand about that?

But dont you see how cynical the Americans are? they have tried to crush the country, they have put sanctions on the country to starve the people into submission, and now here they are pretending they are there to help them ...........AND STEAL THEIR OIL...

you must be extremely naive if you believe that the Americans are getting involved for the sole purpose of giving humanitarian aid, especially when they have tried crushing the country for the last few years, America have helped create this mess, and are now compounding it by putting sanctions on the country and coercing other nations  into doing the same.  Because American involvement has worked in every other country that they have been involved in hasnt it?

But if we and the Americans  are bothered about humanitarianism,  why are we still supplying the Saudis with weapons and training to cause genocide in Yemen? over three million homeless, and the country sliding into one of the worst famines in history?  so what say you Phil752??

Was just watching this good interview with the Venezuelan Foreign minister. He covers lots of topics, including the blocking of the "Humanitarian Aid'.  Worth a listen. Interesting to hear that the bridge that the mainstream media is saying Maduro closed, to block the Aid, was never actually opened since it was built, and has had barriers on it since 2016 . . .

Yep,  very true!   . . . you're welcome, glad you liked the interview.

For anyone else interested, this, from the interview,  really puts the 'aid' in perspective!

Well, it’s not an issue–this is all a stunt for public opinion, public relations. I mean, if your unilateral coercive measures–so-called sanctions–are having an impact in our economy that has cost more than $23 billion–with a B, billion–dollars, now, how can you tell us that you’re going to send $20 million. Of what? That is maybe what the restaurants in Caracas need for three days. I mean, that is all a spectacle. That is a show for public opinion. Venezuelans, we are doing our best in spite of the sanctions . . . we’re doing our best in order to distribute tons and tons–I mean, the consumption in Venezuela of food is over 1 million tons per month. What is this, of 60 tons of what? I mean, that is only for CNN to broadcast live, and CBS, and Fox News, and the right wing media all over Latin America and Europe. But the reality is that we–if the United States unblocks our economy, if they waive the sanctions, we have enough resources to satisfy and oversatisfy the needs of our people.

I have no doubt the USA is up to dirty tricks, but do you really believe the BBC is pro USA biased?

sorry, I thought you were talking about my first sentence 'without a doubt bit'.

No, I don't think the usa are getting involved for humanitarian reasons, like I said, I think they are up to no good.

But I also don't think the BBC are pro-USA biased and feeding propaganda. Their bias does not lean in that direction at all.
