Overthrowing the government of Venezuela

Likewise, I have no reason to believe anything you say with your pro socialist pro dictatorship agenda.

You can always check the facts. Don't take my word for anything. Was there anything specific that you wanted to challenge so I can provide you with real evidence? Or did you just want to call me "pro dictatorship?" Incidently what are you basing that on since I believe that Maduro was democratically elected as I articulated earlier?

It's sad when people can't base their arguments on facts and instead rely on ad hominem attacks. Just so everyone is clear, it doesn't make any difference if I'm an insane, communist, "pro-dictatorship" monkey. It doesn't change the facts or invalidate my argument. One plus one will always equal two...no matter who says it.

I am afraid you may be wasting your time Marcey, most people will not divert away from what the main stream media feeds them, they are unable to think for themselves,

this is a good link that i came across..

Trump’s hyper-militaristic National Security Adviser John Bolton admitted the US-led coup in Venezuela is motivated by oil and corporate interests.

Ah, the old human rights argument, but does it only matter if the country has a huge amount of oil that we can steal?

have you heard the BBC report that Venezuela has the worlds largest oil reserves, or just about their elected leader being a dictator?

So they’re lying then, or don’t the human rights thing matter? I know about the oil, from the bbc ironically enough?

so, can I track down this guy on Twitter who says he saw all this abuse in a converted shopping centre and call him a liar or what? Guide me banjo!

Of course human rights matter, but it matters in every country, not just those that have oil we can steal, how come we trade with Saudi Arabia but they cut peoples heads off? why do you think that is? and why do we trade with other countries that also have terrible human rights records?

You really ought to watch this video if you want to get a balanced view, its only 13 minutes long, but the action starts at approximately 4 minutes if you can be bothered to get a balanced view...

Marginally surprised he admitted it, but they’ve got form for that sort of thing, and he is a bit of fruit cake.

But, for balance, I’ll try and find a source I recognise. I’ve read a bit about lots of Venezuelans leaving the country due to severe lack of food and medical supplies. I’m assuming that’s all down to the yanks as well? Nothing to do with those running the country?

Just watching This Week and seen death by TV on Ken Livingston, QT was not much better for the Labour rep there, trying to talk out,  his and Corbyn support for Venezuela

Not everyone reading this will comment. People can see what is written and make up their own minds.

They don't outright lie very often. Usually they apply a bias or a "spin". For example, there may be a significant number of people that think the shortages are caused by US sanctions. There may also be a tiny number of people that blame the Maduro Government. The BBC will report on and interview only the people blaming the Maduro Government and never mention that some people think otherwise. You do already know this Mr Tinfoilhat. I may have never posted before but I pay attention and you know perfectly well how propaganda works. Pretending you don't is simply disingenuous and calls in to question your true motives.

The cause of the shortages is the US sanctions. Otherwise could you point to any specific thing the government has done that has caused the shortages? Can you think of any specific example of a thing Venezuela is doing that is not also being done successfully in other countries. For example, nationalising the oil industry, well that is done in Norway. Printing money, that is called quantitative easing here...etc

The country of Venezuela is under siege by powers that want to steal the oil wealth for themselves. Blaming Maduro for the siege or blaming socialism for the shortages is simply a mistake at best and an outright lie at worst.

Good old US of A.  Raping other countries to make our world a safer place.

The sooner America disappears into the abyss the safer we will all be.
