desy 10 #1 Posted January 29, 2019 I have been going through some old family photos.One must be around 1930,s If was obviously taken in a studio of of relations sat in a car. The photo looks similar to photo slide it was have been a photo in it's time.It is in a cardboard frame about 2inch wide by 3inch tall. I would like to get it improved or produbced as a photo. Has anyone any ideas were someone may be able to help. I am now disabled and cannot get into Sheffield. Or where / can I get in touch with it to send by post. ttparsons 10 #4 Posted January 31, 2019 Good luck finding someone to do it for less. That was a rock bottom price. Here is a suggestion. Attach your slide to a sheet of white A4. Light it brightly from behind. Make sure there are no reflections or shadows on the front. Take a photo on your phone. Use your phone's photo editing tools. You won't be able to get rid of scratches and dustspots and the texture of the paper might show through, but you can convert to greyscale or sepia and enlarge it yourself. See It is not like the last lot of slides.
