Where can I find out how to locate a burial plot I have name and death date but need to find where the person  is buried  in Sheffield

Have a look here on  The Sheffield Indexers web site!   http://www.sheffieldindexers.com

Click on burials over on the left hand side of web page and just input the name!

At City Road Cemetery gatehouse there is an office. They could perhaps help.

City road  helped me locate a grave in Abbey lane some years ago.

Hi, I found it really easy to locate a grave at City Road Cemetary.  I went to the reception,  just inside the gates and explained that I wanted to locate a grave.  I gave the deceased person's name and date of death, although if you don't have the exact date they can still help.  It took the lady only a couple of minutes to look up the details and then she gave me a map of  where the grave was.  Not sure if all cemetary's have the facility to provide this information though.
