sharpend   11 #1 Posted January 23, 2019 Any suggestions the best example of a Sheffield boundary sign?  You know the sign at the side of the road when you leave Doncaster or wherever and enter Sheffield.  It's for a film.  Best example I mean - no graffiti & not over run by bushes and hedges. Pref no advertising either - the one with the Sheffield coat of arms would be great. If anyone knows where one of those is  Any suggestions - so I can check out via street view.  Many thanks
 Share this content via...
Michael_N Â Â 31 #2 Posted January 23, 2019 Orgreave Road? Â https://goo.gl/maps/NHdtyZEScNQ2 Just have a look on Google Maps, where the city boundary is and there will be plenty to chose from. Presumably more scenic on west side of city out towards the peaks.
 Share this content via...

Foot   10 #4 Posted January 23, 2019 The one on Bawtry Road, between Brinsworth and Tinsley, isn't bad. It also has a steel reference too. It's just before the Hallam University Sports park
 Share this content via...

bazjea   10 #8 Posted January 23, 2019 Turn Left at the Strine s Juction onto Mancheter Rd . Carry on toward Sheffield  It is on the right hand side of the road about 200 yards up the road  It has the Sheffield Coat of Arms on it. You must have driven past it    https://www.instantstreetview.com/@53.387263,-1.65463,61.16h,-3.64p,0.36z  Try link above.
