And it would appear these happened in Dinnington and South Anston - not Sheffield.

Sheffield postcode and a very short distance away, most surrounding areas have the same problems, look up Swallownest, Aston, Woodhouse, Handsworth etc etc etc, its never ending.

Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Worksop and Hope Valley all have Sheffield post codes. Doesn't make them Sheffield.

Stop splitting hairs, its exactly the same (or worse) in Sheffield, the amount of theft doesn't stop when it gets to the border of the city centre, its a major problem, I've just been to a company in Woodhouse (Orgreave industrial estate) not 20mins ago that have had their front door kicked in last night and another at Holbrook had a break in last week, its endless.

So 7 break ins (actually some are only attempted) in a city of umpteen thousand in 6 days is a crime wave?

That's seven that I know of personally in a matter of days and in a small area, yes there is a major crimewave. Deny away as its only going to get worse and you or a member of your family will be a victim in the not too distant.

A man crossed the road in Nether Edge yesterday evening.  Not at a pedestrian crossing.

Young person discards crisp packet on pavement in London Road in fragrant breach of anti-littering legislation.

Illegally parked car given ticket after remaining in paid spot 15 minutes too long in Eccleshall Road.

No crime problem here.

Make fun of it all you want, if you can't see theres a problem thats getting worse with no sign of anything to prevent it feel free, don't complain when one of your relatives or friends get their lives/livlihoods devastated and the law isn't interested.

Without wanting to over simplify the issue, unfortunately we now have some people within our society who grow up having had zero amount of discipline, either at home or at school, they grow up giving zero F's for that very reason.
