Why does anyone care what a razor company has to say?

They have some great adverts though.

That's the Gillette I know and love.

Absolutely fascinating to see the corrosion of views and ideals after susceptible folk wade through the internet's nether-regions for long enough.

That brings to my mind the Galton and Simpson radio script for the 1958 Hancock's Half Hour episode, 'The Male Suffragettes'. A prophetic lampooning of today's "meninists".

It's just an advert for a multinational company. Get a grip.

Yeah, because it eases your fear of women by reducing them to body parts for your  lustful gaze. Who'd have thought?

Ah, but his fear of women might be well founded, however in this case the sum of the parts is definitely not equal to the whole!

What were women "scared" of when perving over the old Diet Coke ads then? Would you say those ads objectified men and were sexist?

I think you've hit it squarely on the head there.

No women I know / knew used to "perve" over Diet Coke ads - maybe you're mixing them up with the women in the ad who were following a script?
