Hi - is there anywhere in the Sheffield area that runs a 'repair shed' where you can take faulty household items for repair rather than throwing them away?

Or how much would you pay for this repairing service?

What type items are you asking to be repaired?

In my experience now a day's people bin their items rather than try to repair them.

 

For example you can buy a pair of shoes from 'taps pocket' but to get the same

pair of shoes repaired - costs more then the cost of A New Pair.....

So it's not good economics...

It's very good for the wider economy of the planet to repair items instead of wasting the 99% of components that are still working just fine.  There are times when things need to be replaced for safety reasons or because they genuinely have reached the end of their useful life, but treating things as disposable is so wasteful!
