Mr Farnham and Mr Davis at Beaver Hill School were great guys.  Oh yeah IT was good, especially late into the term when we used to spend most of the lesson playing Repton 3 on an Acorn Archimedes. Godzilla   10 #18 Posted June 10, 2006 My best subject at school was probably English, but I really liked physics. The only problem was that my maths was rubbish, so although I could remember the principles and the equations, my answers were always wrong! ToryCynic   10 #20 Posted June 10, 2006 English and German.  German as it was/is a far more interesting foreign language than French, and English as I find the structure of language(s) interesting - however, most 'modern' English lessons aren't really looking at structure. Students only seem to get into sentence structure and linguistics in 'A2' level English.
 Share this content via...
dramadiva   10 #21 Posted June 11, 2006 I was definately a language fan - i love all the inconsistensies in language. I found science and maths dull as you get told something, work out the answer, and that's it, no real variation. I used to love German though, in my 'A' levels i was really pleased to discover that in my coursework i managed to pull off a subjunctive pluperfect passive correctly.... Dave650 Â Â 10 #22 Posted July 25, 2006 I was a fan of english language, just found it easy. Art was fun to but never really got anywhere lol. These things really depend on your teacher. I had a great english teacher for my last year at school and has therefore stayed imprinted in my mind.
 Share this content via...
