Mustard pot

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the Mustard Pot is still closed? I know it closed just before Christmas but I don't  know if this was just temporally.

Just returned from the Mustard Pot. It is definitely closed, a steel mesh jobby over all the windows and doors.

On the wall facing the road, a large banner is advertising it is up for a ten year lease, with the number where to apply for it.

Hope this helps.

We used to go many years ago, when it was a pub and little else. Various Landlords have had a go at it, but it seems to fail every time.

A great shame. I expect if no one is forthcoming it will eventually be a large housing plot, with as many houses as possible stuck on it.

Remember going here about 16/17 years ago and it was great for food - shame.

I knew the bloke who owned it.  I nearly bought a barn conversion from him, above Ewden Dam.  Until I realised there was more than one catch in it.  He owned the Flouch at one time as well.

He was a likeable rogue for sure and the Mustard Pot used to be an eclectic and interesting pub.
