It looks like a nice well planned out town. I like the raised pedestrian walkways.

 

This image is zoom-in-able by the way...

 

Taken with a 195 gigapixel camera too. Pretty sure that's better than my phone!

Did anyone see the that program called "impossible engineering" yesterday on freeview.

It was about an hotel they have built in Shanghai,  inside a quarry, with part of the hotel attached to a cliff face. Amazing engineering.

Shanghai is never called Shanghai City, like New York can sometimes be called New York City. It's just Shanghai. 

 

only when cities have states and provinces of the same name, like New York, Quebec, or Cebu is it necessary to attach the sobriquet city when you are talking about the principal metropolitan area within the state or province of the same name.
