Do you by any chance drive a Renault? They have windscreens which are reflective to keep heat out of the vehicle, also keeps gps signals out.

We have the Tom Tom 700,the only problem we have is when driving up the A1 near Ferrybridge on the new stretch of the road,for about 10 miles it keeps saying in 80yds turn right,this happens every time,been in touch with Tom Tom,but had no reply that must have been 3 months ago now.I wonder if it is anything to do with the power lines overhead??

The new stretch of the A1 is 80yds further west than the original.

Tom Tom maps have yet to be updated and your Tom Tom thinks you are in the field to the right of the road.

Apparently new mapping will be available soon...or so I'm told.
