Christmas lights

Recommended Posts

So I've lived out of the area for quite a while and have just moved back.

I now have a 2yr old daughter who is obsessed with lights and wonder are there still any streets where many residents put on outdoor displays?

Location isn't an issue as I drive. Any recommendations?

Another vote for this road, the majority of houses get fully decked out, and the trees in the road too!

there used to be a guy on Eastwood (S6) who always had a nice display but so far he has not put anything up this year

At least your daughter will appreciate the council expenditure on Sheffield lights and not concern herself how better this money could have been used

A house on Ivy Park Road, on the level-ish bit at the top, usually has quite a display.

Many houses on the Waverley estate get dressed up for Christmas and the estate usually has a community tree etc.  Worth a walk around and having a look.

How about Castleton? The entire main road in the village is decorated.

The house at the narrow end of Ashfurlong Road in Dore is eye-poppingly amazing and gets better every year.
