florence kat   11 #1 Posted November 25, 2018 Copies are coming off the printer with undesirable little black marks, repeated down the page at approx. four inch intervals. This would suggest something on a roller. What can be done?
 Share this content via...
zach   234 #2 Posted November 26, 2018 While I'm no tech when it comes to printers, I've had to revive a few over the years.  A couple of things have caused marking that I've come across.  1. Build up of toner powder and bits dropping on the print. Give it a good clean. I don't honestly know what's in the toner but I made sure to not breath any in!  2. Damaged or contaminated fuser (the roller that gets hot) If you can, give it a clean and remove anything that shouldn't be there. If it's damaged they usually can be replaced but I found it was as cheap to get a new printer in most cases.  That just about exhausts my knowledge of repairing laser printers. Good luck with it.
 Share this content via...
