Save our owls

Is it time for a new campaign ?  Those longer in the tooth will remember the «  Save Our Owls » campaign in the early 1970s organised by the Star.  The time does feel right for a fresh campaign. This City needs two clubs pushing each other for dominance. The Wednesday owner seems to be taking Owls fans for mugs and doesn’t seem to have a clue about how football works. 

 

One point from 6 games is relegation form.

That 'Save Our Owls' campaign still irks some of dem older Blades, just another thing that has made them so bitter about Wednesday over the years, it has given some of them a proper greasy chip on their shoulders !

The one point in 6 games was a very lucky one, but as any Blade at Rotherham would admit , they all count no matter how lucky.

The problem might well be the so-called "expert' help he is already getting. So called advisors who are only interested in making money for themselves.

So much for that Save our Owls campaign by the Star, they got relegated anyway.Was the manager then Len Ashurst or Steve Burtenshaw ? Also, did people have to send money to support that silly Star effort?
