Well quite, but given that Corbyn is the leader of the opposition, you might've expected that he wants her gone too.

As for her own backbench MPs, who the 1922 Committee represent, they are said to be furious with her "appalling comments", where she blamed MPs for the Brexit hold up, and which pitted MPs against the electorate.

They did the no confidence vote in her a few months back, so not surprising they're unhappy now with being kicked up the backside publicly.

The MPs aren't being pitted against the electorate, they represent our interests. If they are doing that, it's TM who will come out worse from it.

I think it's politically significant when the chair of the 1922 committee tells their PM her time is up.

It was Theresa May who pitted the electorate against Parliament for blaming them for holding up Brexit. That was the kernel of her 'speech to the nation' on Wednesday; and most political commentators heard it

She presumably does; but they're as hopeless as the ones who ran her election campaign.

I agree that he looked stupid doing that, but it was minor compared to the complete confusion he caused Mark Francois especially when Francois turned to the other panel members and said "He's trying to say all Brexit voters were racists and bigots!" and with one voice they all went "No, he's not!" 😂😂

Will Self comes over as an oik.

You'd probably think he was magnificent if he spoke a few words of Latin though?

Apparently Boris Johnson has been stamping his little feet and demanding that Theresa May stand aside to let him lead the country, he feels is his birth right.

In other news, the US Secretary of State says God may have sent Donald Trump to save Israel. Not sure how well that will play out with his supporters in the Ku Klux Klan. 😱

The only prediction I can make is that the next Tory leader will be a completely self serving you know what.

What a mob she's had at Chequers today:
Boris Johnson
Dominic Raab
Jacob Rees-Mogg
David Davis
Iain Duncan Smith
Damian Green

None of them would make it to the end of a Willy Wonka factory tour.

The most likely outcome now is either a 'soft Brexit' with a customs union or the whole thing being sacked off as a bad job.

If one of the crackpot wing of the party becomes leader, they may have to negotiate the withdrawal on a softer Brexit than May's deal which they call a betrayal.

How is that going to work? 😱
