It has to be one of the most reliable cars ever built, with great fuel economy and it's not slow when compared to it's main rival the Ford Escort of it's time.  The 1.4 like mine, is 84bhp, compare this to a 1990 Ford Escort 1.4 and you're looking at about 60bhp if you're lucky.
