Fly infestation

As above, in my kitchen, had a good look around, under cupboards, etc, for dead mice, decaying food, but can't find anything,

Where's Columbo when you need him! Are they little fruit flies or buzzy bigger ones? Checked on top of cupboards? Emptied the bin?

Any pot plants? Mine were coming out of the soil. Tiny, fruit fly type ones.

Sorted by using a spinkling of sand on top of the soil, and hoovered up the ones flying about. No more flies.

No pot plants, they are not large, medium, it is quite unpleasant and concerning as i have a compromised immune system, landlord won't do anything.

Most won't as it's usually the tenants fault.

You need to properly check all the rooms and outside too, if there's rubbish or rotten food around they could be coming from there.
