Shes not a Socialist.

But then shes not in the Socialist Workers party. Shes in the Labour party. A party that is supposed to be somewhat inclusive.

There is a very good reason why the Socialist parties never got a foot hold in UK politics.

why was it.

Not really valid as it was Harriet Harman who tabled the original motion to make MP's expenses exempt from the FOI act in 2009 and the Labour Party who used a 3 line whip to try and force this through Parliament. This failed and it was thanks to a FOI request by the Telegraph later that year that all the expenses scandal came out.

So Labour wanted to hide anyone finding out about the expenses of MPs as a party and used the whip to try and get it through. To quote you - "I wonder why"

It's obvious why.  But it's worth saying that as news coverage at the time made clear, the exemption was something also requested by the Tory backbench 1922 committee.   However, the Tory leadership - who originally had supported the exemption - changed tactics and, along with protests from Labour MPs, the motion was killed.

I think you will find that on the Labour Party membership membership card it describes itself as a "democratic socialist party" that means they are both democratic and socialist, i am afraid Angela Smith can not be described as a socialist, and going by her constant undermining of Corbyn with his overwhelming majority vote from its members, i doubt very much that the word democratic also applies to her

Shame the voting public don't feel the same way about him.

Corbyn did his share of criticising the Labour leaders when he was a back bencher..how undemocratic of him..

That kind of is the point of democracy. Perhaps what you really want is to join the Social Dictatorship Party?

Corbyn  won the leadership election,  and then he won it a second time with an increased majority, and Smith thinks its fine to get rid of him by the back door, doesn't sound very much like democracy to me.

He never went constantly running to the right wing media to undermine the leader,

I wouldn't call her a socialist, she voted against restrictions on fracking and was against returning the water into public ownership, not what i would call a socialist, not to mention her running to the media to undermine her SOCIALIST leader..

what do you think makes her a socialist?

Socialism is tyranny, under it you don't own your time, your ideas and your labour, everything you do is for the benefit of the state rather than to benefit yourself. Once people get the message that their labour doesn't benefit them they will cease to labour, necessitating forced labour camps(gulags). We've seen it throughout history.
