One of the most disturbing bits of film I remember seeing as a child was an open backed truck driving through a poor African village with people standing on the back of it throwing out cans of Coca Cola to the local children.

It is lamentable though, that for this woman and presumably her kids, that Christmas can only start once a completely detached, faceless corporation that only wants to drain as much money from them as possible and sees them purely as a source of income, deigns to send their mobile advertising near to where they live.

It was no doubt just a figure of speech she was using, some say the same about the John Lewis tv advert, doubtful they really think that.
