Congestion charge in Sheffield

Recommended Posts

Yes I think I heard warnings were being made in the late 90's or something, but the priority was CO2 emissions so they were just brushed aside.

Am I really going to have to pay £12.50 to come in to the city centre to shop? I must have read it wrong. I like to go to Waitrose and Mecca bingo. I come from Worksop. I put my car registration in the website

No. Cars are exempt and its not a tenner. Where are you reading its £12.50?

Unless you drive a van or something bigger you need not worry, and even then its only the older ones.

Cheers. The link takes you to TFL which includes Sheffield in the list. Very confusing

So if it doesn't go further in the near future how will net zero on carbon emissions be reached?

the gradual conversion to zero emissions cars by some will help, the complete unattractiveness of Sheffield city centre as a destination will also help.

Loads of cyclists producing methane will not matter as we are not measuring methane 🙂
