What is the furthest landmark you can see from within Sheffield?  Yes you can see Drax looking north east from Sheffield, but you can also see Eggborough north of that and Ferrybridge even further north.  You can see York Minster in the right conditions and even the North York Moors. Genuine question....  Apparently you can see the humber br. from Wharncliffe crags using a pair of binoculars. there was a similar topic on here where the poster posted a photo of humber br. taken from that spot, don"t know how to find it though.
