Alexis Sanchez wage at Man Utd

Very much so, at the moment it's mere scraps from the rich mans table.

Unless some bored billionaire comes along there's little chance of lower clubs getting anywhere.

Even that doesn’t do it.

You only have to look as far as Sheffield 6 to see that. Wednesday have a seriously rich owner, happy to invest, but hamstrung by P and S regulations. Meanwhile, relegated PL clubs have huge parachute payments to blow. The Championship is a very strange league.

Yea, you end up with a load of yoyo clubs. With parachute payment money they can afford the players to win promotion, but they don't have the quality to stay in the top flight.

They get promoted, get relegated, get promoted again, relegated again.

The cycle continues on and on.

But you also get a lot of new clubs in there - Brighton, Bournemouth Huddersfield and equally I don't see villa, stoke and certainly not Sunderland coming back up any time soon. There have been 49 clubs in the premier league.

Villa and Stoke have a good chance this year.

If Villa don’t make it this year, they have an equally good chance of going bust.

Fine lines.

I think, as a casual observer, half the league has a fair chance of going up every year.

What it does show - is how much society in general has declined.

People getting paid such an exorbitant amount of money tells me others will have to live poor.

There is no way you can get around that fact.

Can you imagine in a survival situation - say lost in the desert and one thirsty guy decides to drink all or most of the remaining water.....

but like I said, yoyo clubs.

Huddersfield and Newcastle have had an absolutely shocking start to the season, they only came up recently and are already looking likely to drop back down.

Cardiff are doing just as bad, they were only promoted into the PL at the end of last season.

Brighton aren't doing very well either, but at this rate even a poor performance is good enough as other clubs are doing even worse.

Huddersfield have never been in the premier league before. They might go down this season, they might not. Brighton haven't been the the PL either - if they go down they both might never go up again. Hardly yoyoing unless you were particularly crap with a yoyo.

Newcastle, yes, Cardiff, yes - but to fair nobody gave them a chance of going up this time last year.

The Man. Utd v Wolves game was great to watch.

We had two quite evenly matched teams ability wise who BOTH had intention to attack.

At the other end we get continually dished up with bore fests!

Man.City v Cardiff and around 80 percent possession.

Liverpool v most of the other lower teams similar.

Never yet watched a one sided match that I have enjoyed.

A 18 team PL dropping four of the mickey mouse teams out with the addition of Celtic and Rangers would really liven the league up - and make it a much more competitive league.

The big six will soon be the big eight.

You can't blame the player..you have to blame the people that feed football..the supporters who are willing to pay ridiculous prices for watching and ridiculous prices for merchandise...no supporters no football no sky...simples.

After last nights performance. Paid £14.5million for playing 24 games and scoring 3 goals.

"And even now, looking on at his damp lettuce of a United career, it takes a few moments to fully grasp the numbers behind the highest paid footballer in British history. Sánchez got a £75,000 lump sum just for starting this game. He has to date been paid £14.5m by Manchester United. If he gets to January he will receive a £1.1m annual bonus, just, well, because.

In return for this Sánchez has now played 24 matches and scored three goals. "
