Top Cats Hat   10 #1 Posted September 7, 2018 Apparently Tesla shares fell by 9% on the New York Stock Exchange today, after Elon Musk was seen chewing on a big fat one in a podcast.  At a total net worth of $49 billion that represents a loss of $4.1 billion which must make it the most expensive doobie in history! It lost 120 billion in value in a single day's trading, which was a 20% drop in its total value.
 Share this content via...

Phanerothyme   12 #7 Posted September 8, 2018 Wow, that's some animosity right there. He's an unusual bloke, and no mistake - but he's prepared to put his money where his mouth is, and as a result his company was the first privately funded outfit to design, build, launch and retrieve a space vehicle. It then went on to supply the ISS fgs. That's an outstanding achievement he made possible.  If you like Neal Stephenson, and you've read Seveneves, then you'll know who was the inspiration for Sean Probst. " a dude chewing on a fat one " is pure Cheech and Chong Americana, and not something familiar to a forum in Sheffield, unless you are all Americanised these days LOL Edited September 8, 2018 by Ontarian1981
 Share this content via...
tzijlstra   11 #9 Posted September 8, 2018 Excellent time to buy Tesla shares. The man has a vision that lasts 30 years, probably some manic tendencies that lead to that sort of leadership, couldn't care less about someone taking a puff of joint, the amount he took wouldn't have been enough to do anything other than give him a flavour.  Media scrutiny on Musk is getting to ridiculous proportions. The US will probably using this as a fast method of transport in a few decades while we'll will still be spending billions to knock 20 mins off the Sheffield to London train times?
