Halloween event: Family Film on the Farm- Mary and the Witch's Flower

Recommended Posts

Join us for the first event in our “Witches in the Woods” Halloween line up this October 27th as we open up our lambing and cow barns to create a cinema with a difference.

We will be screening the breathtaking animation “Mary and the Witches Flower” (U) from the director of “Howl’s Moving Castle” and “Spirited Away”. The story, based on Mary Stewart’s 1971 children’s book ‘The Little Broomstick’, follows an ordinary young girl named Mary, who discovers a flower that grants magical powers for only one night. As she is whisked into an exciting new world beyond belief, she must learn to stay true to herself.

With craft activities, food, hot drinks, onsite bar and Halloween treats on offer in our witchy themed Halloween village we’ve got a whole host in store for the whole family before and after the film.

Plus we have a special family pass avaialble. Book for two adults and two children and save £8

Fancy dressed encouraged !

More information and tickets available via the Whirlow Hall Farm website or on our Facebook page :)

The film begins at 3pm and ends at 4.45 pm with our Halloween village opened at 2pm until 5.30pm.

All proceeds of the event go towards funding the farm's educational work with vulnerable young people. To find out more about our work on the farm visit the Whirlow Hall farm website.

Audience members should dress comfortably and wrap up warm. We encourage audience members to take lots of photos at our event but filming/photography of the film itself is forbidden.
