glennpickard   10 #73 Posted September 14, 2018 The person who got mugged in Manchester, but believes that city is safer than Sheffield, reminds me of John Lennon, who said he "Wanted to move to New York as I feel safer there than England." Â That's hilarious but tragic. In reality though, John wouldn't leave the States because he knew he would never get back in because of his drug conviction. alchresearch   206 #75 Posted September 14, 2018 The question "Do you feel safe in Sheffield?" is flawed.  City centre daytime - yes. Various suburbs - yes. West Street at 2am - no. Any of the estates like Parson Cross - no.
 Share this content via...

80peter   10 #78 Posted September 14, 2018 To be honest everywhere is the same now with regards to Sheffield I don't think it's any worse than other cities of similar size or better. London will always be worse simply down to the fact it's the capital city of the UK.
 Share this content via...
Guest busdriver1 Â Â #79 Posted September 14, 2018 So you feel safer in a place where you got mugged than in a place where you've not been mugged? Â YES because when I was mugged I was not subject to a gun being pushed in my face. Give me a beating any day over that.
 Share this content via...

If you can’t beat them, join them.  ---------- Post added 14-09-2018 at 20:37 ----------  YES because when I was mugged I was not subject to a gun being pushed in my face. Give me a beating any day over that.  You must have had some sort of bad experience in Sheffield, involving a gun I suspect.
