I1L2T3   10 #13 Posted August 29, 2018 They did .....  But in your head you must realise the difference?  An organised national body with a secretariat etc... versus a lone bigot?  You can’t somehow validate the KKK or seek to tone down their impact with reference to a single misguided individual. Marsaud   10 #14 Posted August 29, 2018 Watched that last night . Now, im not taking sides because the KKK are vile and ill educated BUT no one talks about " the angry black woman " who stopped a woman from the black lives matter march because she was white but her child was "mixed race" and wanted to march on the BLM parade . It goes both ways . ALL lives matter  There are so many clear, right paths to take on things like this.  How is it that you invariably end up on the wrong side?  It says a great deal about your thought processes, or lack of them. Jeffrey Shaw   90 #17 Posted August 30, 2018 Also see the (mostly true) film now on general release "BlacKkKlansman" (e.g. https://www.cineworld.co.uk/films/blackkklansman#/buy-tickets-by-film?in-cinema=8079&at=2018-08-30&for-movie=ho00005604&view-mode=list ) It's a well-worth watch, I consider, albeit quite one-sided (as it's based on the memoirs of the policeman involved!) Top Cats Hat   10 #19 Posted August 30, 2018 Just been watching Miriam Margolyes Big American Adventure and she has just done an interview with a bloke from the KKK (well she didn't because he refused to be interviewed by a Jew.) The interview was conducted by proxy and when asked what the KKK would do with the Jews, he said that they would be rounded up and sent to Madagascar. He also said that all male Jews should be castrated.  It really put into perspective all this Corbyn nonsense and shames those who think that is is appropriate to use anti semitism to score political points. Just pointing out the absurdity and downright political opportunism behind the attacks on Corbyn.  The KKK have a genuine longstanding anti semitism.
