St Petre   85 #1 Posted August 23, 2018 I see the old Youth Employment Bureau building at West Street/Carver Lane is still there. Anyone have 'experiences' there -1960's or so. Is the place still used as such ?
 Share this content via...
Runningman   148 #2 Posted August 23, 2018 I remember the employment officer opening a filing cabinet which must have contained a hundred cards all with vacancies on. Now how about this one he said and that particular job eventually became mine, from a school lad to a working man. Jobs a plenty in 1963, more than enough to choose from.
