FIRETHORN1 Â Â 58 #1 Posted March 23, 2013 Another one of those "where can I buy" questions. This time I'm looking for local Sheffield honey, exclusively produced by Sheffield bees! I bought some in Sharrow Market last summer and it was great - although crazily expensive. Does anyone know where else I can buy it - apart from at ludicrously dear artesan market stalls? taxman   12 #2 Posted March 23, 2013 I think it's always going to be ludicrously reassuringly expensive, especially if our bees keep dying at the rate they have been.
 Share this content via...

Acorns   10 #4 Posted March 23, 2013 The Farmers Market is at Nether Edge tomorrow; they usually have the same stalls as the Sharrowvale one. You might get some from there.
 Share this content via...

irenewilde   10 #7 Posted March 23, 2013 Sheffield honey is *very* expensive but is a wonderful product. You can find a list of stockists on their website & I believe they'll be at Nether Edge farmers market which *is* on.  http://www.sheffield-honey.co.uk/
 Share this content via...

gnvqsos   10 #9 Posted March 23, 2013 My friend sells honey on Brampton Rd,Thurcroft. He supplies Chatsworth, and keeps his bees on the moors round Langsett.I would endorse Irene's comments as my wife swears by the stuff, and it has also improved her complexion. spats   10 #11 Posted March 24, 2013 (edited) They sell it in Endcliffe Park Cafe & I've seen it in that trendy new shop in Chapel Walk. Think it's called something like 'in the birdcage'. Think it sells around £7 for a large jar & around £3 for a smaller jar. (Dont quote me! Just trying to remember how much I paid.)
