nikki-red   308 #2 Posted August 7, 2018 (edited) There was an article in The Star in June...  https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/old-public-loos-in-sheffield-set-for-new-lease-of-life-after-smashing-estimate-at-auction-1-9189387   These old public loos are set for a new lease of life, after an investor spent much more than a penny. The former toilets on Commonside, in Walkley, which have been closed and boarded up for many years, were bought for £60,000 at auction - well above the £40,000-£50,000 guide price. They could now be transformed into a shop and offices by the new owner, with plans to redevelop them having already been approved last November. Guest makapaka   #12 Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) Noticed work has started here again and the front has been opened out.  As well as the cost of buying the plot which was quite a bit from memory it seems a lot of work will need to be done to make it into something usable.  does anyone know what is going to be?  Edited January 21, 2020 by makapaka
 Share this content via...
