Yew Lane School

Recommended Posts

Is Yewlane another name for Yewlands, the school I attended 1980?

It changed it's name to Yewlands about 1970

These names seem to ring a bell with me.

I went to Colley School 50-54 and they could have been classmates

Hi  My name is Stuart Green and I attended Mansel Junior School and The Yew lane Secondary School from 1957 to 1961.

I am very interested in making contact with people I used to know and seeing how life turned out for them. I now live in Australia New South Wales. I emigrated in 1974

Looking forward to any replies

Cheers

Hi Stuart, I attended both Mansel and Yew Lane but later than you. I must have moved to Yew Lane around 1962. I didn't enjoy school very much and left without any GCEs. However thanks to further education I gained a HND in engineering.
