Chez2 10 #1 Posted July 4, 2018 Hello, I'm after some advice please. I'm not a vegan but do have some visitors coming which are vegetarian and some who are vegan. Can you give me your experiences of the various dairy milk substitutes to put in tea and coffee please? The ones I know of and are easy to find are; rice, soya, almond and coconut milk. jstarr 10 #2 Posted July 5, 2018 Hello, I'm after some advice please. I'm not a vegan but do have some visitors coming which are vegetarian and some who are vegan. Can you give me your experiences of the various dairy milk substitutes to put in tea and coffee please? The ones I know of and are easy to find are; rice, soya, almond and coconut milk. Our younger son and his partner are Vegan and I tend to buy Soya milk for them - all of the ones you mention are fine on cereal etc,but most are not great in tea or coffee. We find Soya to be a good all- rounder! There is a website,I think it’s called Accidentally Vegan, which lists lots of everyday things which are actually Vegan and which are widely available. For example, some “ beef” gravy granules ,which have never been near a cow, some Mr Kipling pies etc.Worth a look!
