The Consequences of Brexit [part 5] Read 1st post before posting

Recommended Posts

Thank you for the educating posts, very informative. So I could say then, the 29,000,000 we are discussing were actually Brexiteers and not Remaoners.

IF you persist with this childishness why do you think people are not willing to discuss with you in a sensible fashion?

You may think you are in someway important with your diatribes.

You can always tell when you are losing a discussion on the Forum, you turn to personal attacks. Bring it on.

Bring what on?

The only diatribe if seen on here is you and the only personal point is your obsession with calling half the country moaners....

Of which there are various permutations because there are a number of institutions and agreements that go to make up "the EU".

Well quite. If you'd asked most people if Euratom were part of the EU they wouldnt even know who or what Euratom were. But they are going to find out how important they are when they need medical isotopes...

A fiver says that that picture will be the cover of the next Private Eye! :D

Tied to the minaret!

If it wasn't for Brexit would we really be giving this foul creature such a welcome? Teresa May kept waiting for 5 minutes while Trump's 11 car convoy rolled up the drive of Blenheim Palace.

We'll get nothing out of this, believe me.

Is there to be a future referendum to rejoin the EU?

We won’t need one.

Re-joining will be a no-brainer

Sadly we will need to adopt the Euro. Whilst I liked almost all of the EU, the single currency is just a bit too much if you are not at the front of the game economically.

But we will lose att the opt-outs we have at the moment and that is what is so galling.

We fought for the opt-outs and we are not fighting for the opt-ins and in the end we will end up bent over the Berlin Gates with out pants down, saying please can we come back to the party.

And it won't be the Leave voters fault that we are up the creek with no paddle - it will be everyone else's.

I think you're right but our conditions of entry won't be the same as we have now...

We won’t care.

We’ll be on our backsides.
