(don't know why, just an impression) Conductors: £9.40 Drivers: £11.78 They’re the worst paid of all the UK’s tram networks. Metrolink drivers earn up to £28k. There is no such progression at Supertram.
 Share this content via...
mrmw 10 #8 Posted June 21, 2018 Wow! They want more than NHS workers who save lives! And fail to mention the increases in previous years when everyone had pay freezes etc. Theyre paid well as it is. 26p per hour is a very decent pay rise . No sympathy for them
 Share this content via...

Hook 10 #12 Posted June 21, 2018 Do you know if qualification to drive the tram/trains gets them closer to train driver's pay? I believe it’s an extra £2k a year. So no. ---------- Post added 21-06-2018 at 18:46 ---------- 6% over 3 years for doing a more valuable job comparrd to nearly 5% over 2 years. What were your increases over last 5 years when nhs/public sector got 1%? I work in the public sector so 1%. A conductor earns about £17k a year. A driver about &22k. Train drivers earn £55k ish.
