He's a Mayor for the 21st century.

One who is known and actually mixing with the public not hidden away.

He's not stiff and stuffy like previous mayors whose names I can't remember.

Good luck to him I say - keep up the good work mate and don't let those stuck in the past sway your wonderfully outgoing and modern persona.

 

I stand by the above.

He's a breath of fresh air.

Maybe if you were a member of South Yorkshire's finest, worried about ending up in jail for anything from grievous bodily harm to attempting to pervert the course of justice, you would.

 

To most right thinking people, the mayor of Sheffield bringing up the matter of what happened at Orgreave with the Home Secretary is to be applauded.

Given a choice between a few swear words and some of the racist, xenophobic, homophobic, misogynist, anti disabled rubbish that comes out of Trump's mouth I know what I'd rather hear!

Seems some people on here are more offended by a swear word than they are about queues for foodbanks, cuts to disabled benefits, closure of sure starts, cuts to social care etc etc

 

People who are offended more by swear words than by people commiting suicide due to benefit cuts either have an agenda or need to get out more.
