Can you park and leave on council land

Recommended Posts

So you can't put things like large stones down to stop people parking on the grass verge and making a mess but you can park a car on the verge and leave it letting the grass grow around it.

It would be a shame if someone accidentally scratched the cars with a large key whilst they were parked on the grass.

@OP

Is this the section of road:

Whilst the cars aren't hurting anyone, I can at least see why you'd find it a little irksome. It'd be more considerate if the owners didn't do it.

Your best bet is to start making enquiries with the council. Find out what can be done, if anything. If it's all completely legal, then you've lost nothing but a bit of time finding out.
