Did anybody else see the jet planes flying over this morning at around 09:00? They were not passenger aircraft because they were flying to close together over towards the east, there must have been around eight or nine together.

They probably weren't all that close together in reality, they'll have been thousands of feet or even several miles apart and at different altitudes but conditions would have been just right for you to see them all at once. There are a lot of transatlantic flights passing through our area around that time in the morning.

 

Best thing to do is look on Flight Radar and you'll see what they are.

yeah i live on the east, Military planes are always flying over here , over the moors and out over the sea, not sure where they came from to be over sheff though this time

I regularly see vape trails.

 

Often it emanates from a motorist's window stuck in traffic. Also, quite a common sight [in every sense of the word] are the sad and desperate outside the workplace.

 

Now if we could make them feel like aliens then perhaps these vape trails would disappear altogether and we'd all be much better for it.

Yorkshire Post Says big NATO exercise 11th to 18th May. Expect to see military aircraft over Yorkshire.

There is a large multi-national training exercise currently taking place over the UK.

I saw the planes around 8.45am this morning ....very close together looked like a race !
