I guess there would be some kind of offence under the Wildlife Act of cruelty to animals if they did it deliberately, or, if they didn't do it deliberately but they knew they were there and decided to drive onwards regardless. But proving that I imagine would be very difficult, especially if they claimed not to have seen them on the road.

And the good old Sheffield Star once again comes up with the goods... they've posted a video online of the ducks getting knocked down.

The sickest video they have ever posted.

All they need to do was post an article stating that a silver car, not unlike an Astra was seen knocking the ducks down. The car had a yellow taxi plate under the registration number.... etc, etc.

But no they show a video from someones dash cam, a new low !

I wish i'd never clicked on the article, I honestly thought it wouldn't have shown the full horror of what happened. Disgraceful.

To people who aren't very interested or upto date on cars, their is very little difference in the German sheds being knocked out now

 

My wife couldn't tell the difference from an Audi to a merc for example

Yes some ducks were run over on a busy road. That doesn’t mean to say it was deliberate and doesn’t provide evidence that it was.

You’re right. Basically some ducks crossed a busy dual Carriageway and got squashed.

 

People on here have since wished death on the driver and said the local press are a disgrace etc

So you clicked on a video on an article about ducks being run over, with the title "VIDEO: UPSETTING CONTENT", and now you are moaning about having watched the content?

 

Do you go to Roy Chubby Brown gigs by any chance and walk out in disgust after 30 seconds because you didn't know he was a bit blue?

May have simply been a case of speeding up to get through the lights coming from the casino/dog track road, no?

 

Nobody can make any conclusion based on the sole viewing of that 9 (?) second video.

The answer to the thread title is really simple - "No one did".

 

I drove up the A1 this morning and saw a dead pheasant a dead fox and something that might have been a rabbit.

 

It didn't cross my mind to start a campaign to locate the drivers responsible.
