If you're lucky, they might have one left at Maplin, though clearly they won't be offering a warranty.

AA Electrical Wholesalers sell them, down behind the Royal Standard pub.

Ideally take the old one down with you, or a photo and the ampage. I think they come in 1.2aH, 2.1aH, 3ah.

Wouldn't bother with Maplins, even their discounted prices are still more than competitors.

Not surprised they went under, high prices did not match the product quality.

very true.. i think they only lasted as long as they did because people liked the convenience of them not being stuck out on some retail park for car owners

back to the subject of batteries about 6 or 7 hears ago maybe 8 the fire brigade put two alarms in many if not all the houses on my estate. when their batteries go does anyone know how one replaces them i was told they were sealed units... to prevent some of the local eating them she said.

I have a vision of the two with failing batteries bleeping themselves in obscurity as there is apparently no means by which to turn them off unless of course one includes judicious application of a lump hammer.

Fireangel is the brand and says on it battery not replaceable see manual which of course was not left
